Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776

The Constitution of the United States is the highest law of our land.  It serves as the foundation by which all other laws should be measured.  Our form of governance is unique as it acknowledges that We the People have rights that are inalienable rights which come from God and not from the government.  Those rights include LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  These rights include property rights.
